Apr 06, · This book is a real help. It makes the experience of reading the books more enjoyable. I wouldn't say that Wolfe's books *need* a reference like this, but it doesn't hurt to have one, and I am glad Michael Andre-Driussi has written the Gate of Horn, Book of Silk.
This book is a boon and adds to the experience of the original texts/5(4). The gates of horn and ivory are a literary image used to distinguish true dreams (corresponding to factual occurrences) from false.
